
Full Time Customer Service Sales Staff

As a customer service sales associate you will be responsible for a multitude of tasks that can vary depending on the day. Job Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to:
Assisting in-store, walk-in, online, and phone customers with orders, order-related questions, flower, and plant questions.
Assisting in filling plant orders, pulling and tagging orders, and wrapping bouquets.
Keeping the storefront appealing for walk-in customers, clean and neat.
Keeping inventory on shelves.
During holiday times you may be asked to assist the design team in completing orders.
Custodial work, in relation to keeping common areas clean.
We need to have someone who is Customer-Focused: Has a passion for providing excellent customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations. You should also have a friendly, approachable personality.
The ability to sell products: Actively engage customers to understand their preferences and offer personalized floral solutions. Promote and upsell additional products or complementary items to enhance the customer experience. Meet and exceed sales targets through effective product knowledge and persuasive communication.
Communication: Both written and verbal is important.
Knowledge of flowers and plants: It is important to have a passion for flowers and an appreciation for their beauty. You must also be able to know and describe colors accurately.
Attention to detail: Accuracy is paramount with all George's Flowers Team members.
Memory Recall: Follow-up and the ability to remember are critical in this position. You will often be asked for specifics and details about orders you took.
