George Clements started his plant business with his grandfather Big George's assisatance at 14 years old. His first small greenhouse mesaured 12'X10' where he grew tomatoe plants, geraniums and hanging basket. The first spring plant season product sold out immediately. Work began on a larger 24' X 36' A Frame fiberglass and wood greenhouse that summer after school ended for George. House plants, orchids, lots more geraniums were cutlivated and sold. A booming plant mainteance and rental business began with clients 3M, IBM, Red Lobster, Pizza Huts, The Library Restaurant, Medeco Locks with lots of help provide by Mom Norma Jean and Dad Leroy Clements. George has never been without a greenhouse and today George's Flowers still operates its own greenhouse on premise for healthy and happy plants.
